"ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS OF OUR TRIP"
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Colonial style hotel with extremely comfortable rooms. Felt like we had gone back in time but with all modern amenities. Easy access to river and shops etc. Did not get time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. We will return!

"FANTASTIC SERVICE, WONDERFUL STAFF, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE"
Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with very warm, helpful staff. The rooms were extremely well presented. The bed was fantastic- like sleeping on a cloud! The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance to all the points of interest. The staff really couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay there again!

"A JUMP IN TIME IN LUXURY IDEALLY LOCATED ALONG THE MALACCA RIVER"
Living in KL I had never considered spending the night in Malacca. As much as I love this city and can visit it over and over again without getting tired of it having always new places and hideouts to discover it had always been on a day trip. This was until YTL renovated and reopened The Majestic hotel. It feels like jumping back in time during the golden age of the city but without any kitsch or too much. Authenticity is the key word here. The service is excellent and discreet. Always there when needed but never obvious or imposing. Dining in the evening dining room definitely makes you feel great and makes you want to dress up. The hotel is ideally located not too near to the major touristic spots yet within comfortable walking distance. And the walk can be done along the Malacca river on the wooden walkway built for that purpose which walkway starts right in front of the hotel. Although the hotel is a historical building, the rooms are modern and equipped with the latest technology and gadgets today's travelers require. A new meaning and purpose for a weekend away from KL in the beautiful town of Malacca.

"TRULY MAJESTIC"
Being in Majestic feels like a travel back in time. A restored colonial building, I appreciate that the management kept the front building pretty much intact and this includes the beautiful Peranakan tiles on the floor. A beautiful touch.
We arrived an hour earlier than our check-in time. The front staff kindly let us rest in the lobby while we helped ourselves to the assorted snacks like peanuts and assams that's been placed in various corners of the lobby. We didn't have to wait long before we got checked-in to our rooms which was great. Kueh and hot tea greeted our arrivals in the room.
We absolutely love the room! It was so welcoming and cosy. We had a room that overlooked the river and the village. The bed was comfortable and the open bathroom was unique. Breakfast in the hotel was good.
Overall, The Majestic, like most of YTL's properties, comes highly recommended and we will definitely return to it again soon!
